Budha-Aditya Yoga(Sun and Mercury combination)

Budh Aditya Yoga is a good yoga in astrology which occurs due to the combination of Sun and Mercury.Classical texts says thatBudh Aditya Yoga native will attain or will be blessed with good reputation,will be witty, successfulprofession, good learning skills ,analytical and sharp mind,andstrong mentality with a good sense of humor.

Well, Budh Aditya Yoga is very common yoga as Sun and Mercury are generally very close to each other.But this yoga doesn’t shows result on everyone’s chart.

For example,Budh Aditya Yoga generally confers good results on Taurus ascendant people but is not good for Cancer ascendant people.

While consideringBudh Aditya Yoga we need to consider two things:

Firstly, the ascendant is important and secondly, the house and the sign it occurs in.

For some particular ascendants, the Budh Aditya Yoga confers auspicious results. Like,For Taurusascendant, mercury is the lord of 5^th house and Sun is the lord of 4^th house. Hence their combination is good as 4^th and 5^th lord combination creates a Raaj Yoga. Raaj Yoga is most important yoga as it bestows the native with all kind luxuries and prosperity.

And  for Aquarius ascendant people, it gives average results not as great as Taurus ascendant people. As Sun rules 7^th house which is a quadrant(Kendra) house and mercury rules 5^th house which is a Trine(kona) house. In this case Kendrakonaadhiphati yoga is not considered good as it gives some problems regarding marriage.

Also, For Cancer Ascendant people it is not a positive yoga. It gives them problems and bad results as Sun is 2^nd lord and Mercury is 12^th lord .2^nd house signifies our wealth while 12^th house signifies expenditure (loss of wealth). Therefore, it forms Daridra Yoga.

Secondly, we also need to consider the house and sign in which this combination occurs.

For example, forTaurus ascendant Sun and Mercury are beneficial but if this combination occurs in Aries (12^th house) then some people may consider it wonderful as Sun is exalted. But Mercury is in enemy sign and being 5^th and 2^ndlord in 12^th house is very bad as it signifies expenditure or loss of child. Hence Budh Aditya Yoga won’t give good results in this case.

Hence we need to consider much more points like ascendant, sign and house to analyze whether Budh Aditya Yoga would give beneficial results or not.
